Frequently Asked Questions
How do I request additional member ID cards?
You can access your member ID card anytime from your myBlueCross account or from the Alabama Blue mobile app. You are also able to request a new member ID card if it has been lost or stolen.
How long does it take to get my member ID card after I request one online?
A replacement card will generally arrive through the mail in 5 to 7 business days.
Can I see my dependents’ information?
You can access your dependents’ information through your myBlueCross account.
Can I see my past claims and other account history?
You can view your past claims and other account information online under the myBlueCross menu. Past claims are available for up to 2 years.
What happens if I forget my username or password?
To retrieve your Username, provide the last 4 digits of your Social Security number, your last name and birthdate. To retrieve your password, provide your username and we will send you a link to reset.
What should I do if my account is disabled?
If your myBlueCross account is disabled and you are unable to log in, please contact Customer Service by email or by calling the number on the back of your Member ID card
